Role Overview

We're looking for a Reporting Controller is responsible for monitoring operational reports, maintaining accurate data records, and ensuring timely communication between internal teams and ground operations.

The role requires close coordination with teams across multiple entities and African operations to track logistics activities, follow up on reporting requirements, and support day-to-day operational visibility through accurate reporting and data management.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and review daily operational reports received via email, group chats, and internal communication channels.

• Coordinate with internal teams across multiple entities to ensure the timely sharing of operational updates and critical information.

• Liaise with ground teams across Africa to collect, verify, and track operational data and updates.

• Follow up on submitted reports and key trigger dates, ensuring all updates are accurately recorded in internal systems.

• Maintain a high level of responsiveness to emails, group chats, and operational requests to support efficient communication.

• Prepare and generate daily Excel reports to support operational monitoring and decision-making.

• Track and monitor trucking operations and logistics activities through reporting, data analysis, and performance tracking.

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of operational information to support business continuity and operational efficiency.

Role Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, and trucking operations.

• Basic understanding of logistics and trucking operations, including operational workflows, shipment movement, and transportation processes.

• Familiarity with trucking operational procedures, reporting requirements, and logistics performance tracking.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, report generation, data validation, and tracking activities.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams and locations.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting, data management, and operational monitoring.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond promptly to operational requirements and changing priorities.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data and generate actionable insights.
