Role Overview
We're looking for a Document Controller who pays close attention to details The role focuses on making sure all documents are uploaded correctly and on time, and on working closely with the IT and operations teams Due to increasing business volumes, particularly in the African market, this position is being created to support workload growth and operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Verify and review documents received from the C Ground Team on a daily basis to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with operational requirements.
Manage a high volume of documentation, including:
150–200 documents per day (Monday to Wednesday)
200–250 documents per day (Thursday and Friday)
Upload verified documents into the internal system under the relevant clearing request numbers created by the C Link Ground Team.
Coordinate closely with the Internal Systems Team to resolve daily dashboard issues, document upload errors, document discrepancies, and other system-related support requirements.
Monitor, track, and follow up on pending, incomplete, or rejected documents to ensure timely resolution and process continuity.
Identify recurring operational challenges and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audit, compliance, and reporting requirements when necessary.
Assist in implementing process improvements and adapt to evolving business requirements as directed by C Link.
Role Requirements
Previous experience in operations, documentation, trade support, clearing, or back-office functions is preferred.
Familiarity with clearing, logistics, or trade-related documentation will be considered an advantage.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry, document verification, and record management.
Proven ability to manage high-volume, repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Basic to intermediate proficiency in system-based data entry, with the ability to work comfortably on dashboards and internal platforms.
Good coordination and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Operations, IT, and other internal stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet daily deadlines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing operational requirements.
